- Title
Integrated assessment modeling for climate change: Why we need it.
- Authors
Gibbs, Mark T
- Abstract
The article discusses the struggle of developed countries such as the U.S. and Australia to introduce policy for carbon reduction schemes. It says that the doubt of community members and business owners in the implications of carbon reduction schemes is one of the reasons for the lack of carbon policy initiatives. It mentions the increase of supply and manufacturing lines due to the result of increased outsourcing, globalization, and information and communications technology (ICT) connectivity.
