- Abstract
Oxygen‐sensitive and near infrared (NIR) luminescent YbIII coordination polymers were synthesized incorporating ligands based on pyrene derivatives. The YbIII coordination polymers exhibited high thermal stability (decomposition temperature=400 °C), intense luminescence (emission quantum yield under Ar=6.6 %), and effective oxygen‐sensing characteristics. Thermally stable solid‐state lanthanide luminophores described herein are expected to open up new frontiers in the fields of materials science. For more information, see the Full Paper by Y.
