- Abstract
The article highlights the experimental results from a study of the component composition of the petroleum-ether extract of the aerial part of wild rue Peganum harmala. The wild rue collected near Karaganda, Kazakhstan during flowering-fruiting produced the total extracted substances. The result revealed that the acidic part contained a significant amount of high-molecular weight and a few unsaturated acids. Hexadecanoic, octacosanoic, nonacosanoic and triacontanoic are the principal fatty acids of Peganum harmala.
