- Title

- Authors
Gabhann, Fiachra Mac
- Abstract
The article discusses how art of story-telling has been cultivated in Ireland by successive generations of both aristocratic and plebeian story-tellers from immemorial antiquity, and must have attained a very high degree of perfection in medieval times. It mentions how Séamus Ó Duilearga, Gerard Murphy and certain other Celtic scholars presumed that the storytelling tradition they encountered in the Gaeltacht was an age-old tradition of medieval times.
