- Abstract
The 21st century has modified some of the uses of the tie in our society and in the specific field of politics. The so-called sincorbatismo (no-tie dress code) has gained a lot of ground. It responds to the informality, relativism and social, cultural and moral relaxation of new times. Sincorbatismo also rhymes with crisis. Wearing or not wearing a tie in current Spanish politics allows, regardless of fashions and personal tastes, which can never be forgotten in our analyzes when dealing with individuals in society, to identify and signify oneself. The dress, today as yesterday, speaks.
