- Abstract
The article offers information on the materials and techniques used to achieve esthetic posterior restorations in dentistry. These techniques include composite resins used as posterior restorations, composite resin inlays, and glass ceramics and Dicor inlays. Light curing techniques are now being optimized by using light-transmitting wedges and a three-sited light curing method. It is stated that both acid-etched porcelain and Dicor glass ceramic inlays cemented to etched enamel using a composite resin-based cement have excellent marginal qualities.
