- Authors

- Abstract
Management education is under scrutiny as competent management graduates are in limited supply and a gap has been experienced between management education and industry expectations. The purpose of the study is to identify the perception of three major stakeholders of the B-schools--faculty, recruiters and the students--in reference to the competencies required by the management graduates. The current study concludes that there is a gap in the understanding and the expectations of certain competencies between students, recruiters and faculty. The gap can be bridged through the combined efforts of the B-school and the industry where both can support and contribute to the development of the industry-ready candidate.
