- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 23-year old man with severe perineal injury after falling onto a cocktail glass. He had a five-centimeter vertical wound on the left side of the anal verge and had passed two liters of fresh blood. A pelvic X-ray was performed before surgical operation after he was revived. An examination using a sterile cut-proof glove (Kevlar™) revealed a 10-centimeter deep wound and a laparotomy was also performed.
