- Abstract
The article focuses on the anachronism and false Islamic representation issues of several Wakefield Corpus Christi theatrical shows in England during the Middle Age period. It elucidates the existence of contemporary social system depicted on these plays and cites its adverse effects to the poor and less privileged individuals. In addition, the author denotes how Muslims were treated on these plays which caused the occurrence of anachronism. It highlights how medieval writers and authors misinterpreted the facts regarding Prophet Muhammed and his founding of Islamic religion as stated by Edward Said. Furthermore, the discrimination against Muslim during the period is also discussed.
