- Title
The Value of Nothing.
- Authors
Geppert, Cynthia H. A.
- Abstract
The article explores the effects of the exponential growth in diagnoses and the competition among drug companies in developing new and more drugs which has resulted in serious consequences among patients and the medical profession. It suggests the benefits of Eastern spiritual practice which focuses on "emptiness" and "voidness" and points out the need to have medical professionals who practice discernment instead of recommending a range of drugs and modalities that may not be needed by their patients.
