- Abstract
The article presents a study on the effect of metformin on the glycated albumin (GA) to the glycated haemoglobin (HbAlc) ratio in patient with type 2 diabetes. A method for lifestyle intervention and administration of metformin was developed. The results were outlined and concludes that metformin decreases the GA/HbAlc) ratio which suggest that it is significant to improve postprandial hyperglycaemia in patients.
