In the article, the author discusses the role of LEGO toys in constructivist learning and the infrastructural limits of open play. Also cited are the conduct by The LEGO Group (TLG) of research on LEGO and adult hobbyism, the use of LEGO as a form of expression rather than an educational tool, and the acquisition by TLG of Bricklink.
