- Title
Interference Issues Concerning Avalanche Rescue Transceivers.
- Authors
Genswein, Manuel
- Abstract
The article focuses on interference issues faced by avalanche rescuers. Detuning of the antennas, increased power consumption and reduction of receive range due to receive filters opening up to a broader frequency range (RX) are some causes of interference for a transceiver. Ortovox S1, ARVA Link and Pulse Barryvox are some devices that offers help in addressing interference as they have built-in higher tolerance for interference.
