- Abstract
The article presents a study on guided revegetation of the plant Mexican Petunia invades floodplains in Florida. The study emphasizes that effective seeding approaches are important for vegetation in urban watersheds. Germination behavior of Mexican petunia and native varieties were studied and native species including bushy bluestem (Andropogon glomeratus), common rush (Juncus effusus) and pinebarren goldenrod (Solidago fistulosa) were chosen. Authors suggest further research on the subject.
