- Abstract
The article presents the author's English translation of an old Turkish manuscript which consists of a letter by Haki, an Ottoman Jew, for his employer Levinus Warner during the Ottoman Empire in Turkey. He notes the use of his own transcription signs in deciphering Haki's text content. He remarks several discoveries in the letter including some missing words, conservative spelling, and redundancy. He also explores the currency units used in the letter. Furthermore, he also refers the spelling of Haki's text from its Bible text.
