- Abstract
The article focuses on the endangered species of Palos Verdes and El Segundo blue butterflies found in the habitat of southern California. As stated, the U.S. Navy's Defense Fuel Support Point has established a captive rearing facility for the Palos Verdes for the recovery of the butterfly. It further states that the measure of habitat restoration has played a major role in the recovery of the El Segundo which was seen at the beaches of Los Angeles County, California.
