- Abstract
The article discusses judicial abstention in America and the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia's ruling in the 2010 case Al-Aulaqi v. Obama which deals with the U.S. government's alleged targeted assassination of U.S. citizen and Muslim cleric Anwar Al-Aulaqi. According to the article, Al-Aulaqi's father Nasser Al-Aulaqi filed a lawsuit asserting that his son's rights under the Fourth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution had been violated. The U.S. Alien Tort Statute is assessed.
