- Abstract
The article offers information on the Doctrine of Equitable Apportionment and its applicability to the litigation case between Mississippi and Memphis in Tennessee. It notes the dispute between the two states due to the Memphis Sands Aquifer and the trespassing, conversion, and inverse condemnation issues of the Memphis Light Gas & Water Division (MLGW). It cites the move of the Supreme Court in settling the case through apportionment.
