- Abstract
The use of forensic ballistics is required to convey briefly the information intended. The application of the knowledge of firearms, powders and bullets to judicial problems. The possibilities of this form of evidence are not known to any extent, and therefore cannot be properly appreciated. The instances show how ballistic data have some service to our judiciary, may give some idea as to what can be expected from a scientific examination of the firearm exhibits often introduced in the courts. There are a number of cases which exemplify the importance of ballistics in the identification of the fatal bullet.
