- Abstract
A'i Cofán Indigenous Community Engagement when Implementing Benthic Macroinvertebrate Monitoring as a Bioindicator Tool of Water Quality in the Ecuadorian Amazonia Acknowledgments We give sincere thanks to the ASLO community and the Global Outreach Initiative (GOI) (2021-2022) for funding support to develop and implement our outreach project in the Ecuadorian Amazonia. The Ecuadorian Amazonia represents 45-48% of the country's territory (Tapia [5]), however, its population only represents about 5-6% of the country's population (https://sni.gob.ec/proyecciones-y-estudios-demograficos, accessed 31 August 2022).
