- Abstract
The aim of this work is to create a system for evaluating qualitatively the use of water resources as an inevitable element for the supply of potable water, sewage system and sanitation (SAPAS) in the city of Culiacán, Sinaloa. This model of evaluation of the water resource is based on a vision towards sustainable development and on the creation of a system of indicators that integrates factors of the Pressure-State-Impact-Response (PSIR) model developed by the OECD. This model contains 24 indicators organized around three categories for the vision of sustainability and four categories that responded to the PSIR model. The conclusions cover the theoretical and methodological discourse to build the models of urban water valorization.
