Race and region have independent and synergistic effects on dietary intakes in black and white women.
- Abstract
The article offers information on a research that analyzes the effect of race and region on the difference in dietary intake of Black and White women in the U.S. It is mentioned that data from 12,105 women from the Reasons for Geographic and Racial Differences in Stroke study was collected for the purpose of research. Also, it is observed that intake of trans fat, calcium and cholesterol differed according to region among Black and White women.
