- Abstract
The article evaluates the benefits and limitations of the three different types of agricultural production methods currently in use, namely conventional agriculture, organic agriculture, and biotechnology. It notes that all three are viable farming methods that can co-exist to meet global nutrition needs. It emphasizes the importance of using methods that produce food more efficiently, use less land and water and utilize new technologies to boost production and distribution.
