- Abstract
The article reports on the Canadian Medical Association displeasure of the Air Canada and WestJet announcement of the completion form to be filled out by medical doctors before granting free seat to passengers with disability or obesity. It states that the privilege is given to obese person who cannot fit in a single seat or disabled passenger who needs an attendant while traveling. According to CMA president Robert Ouellet, the question regarding the seat in the plane is not a medical judgment.
