- Abstract
The article reports on the effort of the European Commission to revise the Professional Qualifications Directive and its plan to issue an updated version 2012. It states that revisions are to be made with regards to patients' and employers' complaints with foreign doctors who lack the proficiency in the country's official language. Doctor Bernardo Bollen Pinto said that there is a possibility to push of mandatory language skill testing for migrating doctors particularly in Europe.
