- Title
Causal Stability in Moral Contexts.
- Authors
Tarnovanu, Horia
- Abstract
The article examines the concept of causal stability in moral contexts and its implications for moral assessments and responsibility judgments. It discusses the challenges of establishing precise causation in complex moral cases and explores different strategies for determining causation. The article argues that there is inherent indeterminacy in the causal relation in these cases, which can hinder moral reasoning and the attribution of responsibility. It suggests that the concept of causal fields can help address this issue and emphasizes the need for a comprehensive analysis of causal fields and a broader perspective in moral evaluation.
