- Authors
STEWART, FRANK
- Abstract
The article provides a brief summary of the play "Andha Yug" and of the epic poem "Mahabharata," and discusses the extent to which the former references the latter. The vastness of the Mahabharata is discussed. The protagonists in Andha Yug are described, focusing on the conflict between the Pandavas, sons of Pandu, king of the Bharata empire, and the Kauravas, sons of Dhritarashtra, older brother of Pandu. The role of Lord Krishna in both the "Mahabharata" and "Andha Yug" is also examined.
