- Abstract
This article discusses the author's experience of visiting Alice Springs, Northern Territory and meeting an old Pitjantjatjara man. She describes the aborigine man when she first met him. She cites changes to Alice Springs such as the emergence of smart shops selling Aboriginal art and crafts and also supermarkets, as well as the establishment of a gambling casino and a Sheraton hotel.
