- Abstract
An essay is presented which explores the possibilities of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and its role as enforcer to address systemic discrimination in the workplace. It mentions a U.S. Supreme Court case Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. v. Dukes which proposed nationwide class action against Wal-Mart alleging sex discrimination. It also mentions the Supreme Court recognizes the role of EEOC in the case General Telephone Co. of the Northwest v. EEOC for public enforcement.
