- Authors
Kaplan, Matt
- Abstract
The article focuses on an experiment conducted by Alan Wilson and his team at the Royal Veterinary College, London, England. The researchers used global positioning systems fitted into solar-powered lightweight collars which were inserted into wild cheetahs to measure their speeds. This experiment was conducted on a 17 month study in Okavango River Delta in Botswana. The study couldn't determine the top speed of the cheetahs but was able to tell about the predatory instincts of the animal.
