- Title
The low-level nuclear threat.
- Abstract
The author discusses the cancer risks of occupational and environmental exposure to low-level ionizing radiation. An overview of actions taken by European radiation-protection and research agencies to address the issue is given. The author argues that in addition to epidemiological research, necessary studies should include the calculation of radiation dosage, animal experimentation, and the review and sharing of historical radiation research data.
