- Abstract
The article presents a study on the implications of highly modified s-triazine herbicides in the management of weeds in agricultural soils. The study uses either of the bacteria species which has unidentified or atrazine-metabolizing genes to determine the characteristics of the Ribosomal Database Project's (RDP) 16S ribosomal sequences. It shows that bacterial adaptation with enhanced degradation can be reduced in s-triazine-adapted soils.
