- Abstract
The article presents some reflections on the epistemological, political and methodological challenges that are envisioned from the consideration of the Epistemologies of the South as a perspective of work from the university in the field of popular economy, focusing on the Social Solidarity Economy Program and Popular (PESSyP) implemented in 2015 at the Faculty of Social Sciences (Universidad Nacional del Centro) in the city of Olavarría, Buenos Aires province. The proposal leads to a critical reflection of the actions of the aforementioned institutional program that converges on the strengthening of the SSE organizations (hereinafter Social and Solidarity Economy will be referred to as SSE) in terms of organization and management of its productive and institutional units in the aforementioned city and seeks to account for the tensions that are evident around the gestation of alternatives to the hegemonic model (economic and educational) in a social fabric in which the abyssal, capitalist and modern logic prevails.
