- Abstract
The article reports that Dr. Harold Freeman, superintendent of Public Instruction, was authorized by the Board of Education to set up an advisory commission on teacher education and professional standards at the state level in South Dakota. The advisory commission will be formed by two representatives from the state education association and two representatives from the County Superintendents' Association. The South Dakota Commission on Teacher Education and Professional Standard has also issued recommendations on the basis of organizing the advisory commission.
