The article focuses on influence of Hollywood in Los Angeles, California by Native American prehistory and notes that explorer and fur trapper journals captured information on Native Americans which were sources movie producers tapped to ensure the accurate depiction of their lives. Topics discussed include consideration of pipe as central feature in Native American lives, smoking considered as solemn engagement and sourcing of monotone vocal chants in warrior sect of the tribe.
