- Abstract
For example, even where people do not personally feel prejudicially towards PLHIV, their HIV testing may be inhibited where they perceive that others would feel prejudicially etc towards them if they were seen HIV testing. Conceptualising, measuring, and addressing HIV-related stigma: Towards reducing disparities in HIV testing and HIV-related outcomes among migrants of HIV unknown or negative status in high-income countries Earnshaw and Chaudoir developed the HIV-related Stigma Framework.1 This individual level Framework includes stigma mechanisms for PLHIV, and people of HIV negative status.
