The article discusses a study on how video game experience and active stereoscopy affects performance in combat identification (CID) tasks, conducted by Joseph R. Keebler, Florian Jentsch and David Schuster. Information an fratricide, a major problem in combat operations that involve military vehicles, is offered. The study concludes that differences in video game experience can be predicted by enhanced performance in CID tasks.
