- Abstract
The aim of the current study is to assess the impact of psychosocial factors (PSF) from the organizational factors group, over the cognitive functions, emotional reactions, behaviour patterns and health complaints in the officials running control activities . Among the factors determining the psychosocial ambience in the organization, we investigated the opportunities for hierarchy raise (74.2% from the employees consider that they had "never" or "sometimes" such opportunity), stimulation by positive recognition of their work (70.1% of them say that the positive incentive for job well done was not enough); consultation with the management concerning activity planning and organization as well as work distribution, awareness about the activities in the organization; management efforts to reinforce the team work, support from the supervisors, etc. Psychosocial ambience has the strongest influenceover the desire to work, followed by behaviour patterns: "Stuck in myself, lack of communication with the persons around me"; "Acting driven by impulse and get myself in trouble", over emotional reactions: "I am bored", "Feeling unhappy", "Feeling not content, angry, edgy" and over health complaints: "Feeling tired, exhausted".
