- Abstract
The article presents comment concerning the effectiveness of the study conducted by Duygu Arikan and associates concerning the infant colic treatment and prevention. It cites the study's finding that mothers preferred behavioral interventions to natural therapies and drugs, which led Arikan's group to provide randomized controlled study (RCT) on the effectiveness of four treatment regimes such as massage, sucrose solution, fennel tea and hydrolyzed formula, with a control group.
