- Title
Israel's Peace Offensive.
- Authors
Ben-Meir, Alon
- Abstract
The article discusses the role of Syria as the key to rapprochement with the rest of the Arab world in the Middle East. The peace plan, the result of the state's concession, is due to the nuclear program of Iran and that Syria is holding the key to reconciliation with the Arab region. The author states that the waiting game will only increment Iran's threat to the survival of the state. He adds that a peace agreement can have a better chance of negotiations including Lebanon and the Palestinian Authority (PA).
