- Title
Pay and conditions of service.
- Abstract
The author discusses the disagreement between the British government and the National Union of Teachers (NUT) and National Association of Schoolmasters Union of Women Teachers (NASUWT) regarding teachers' pay and conditions. The author says that the government wants to change the traditional arrangements for teachers' rewards by implementing performance-related pay. The author adds that the unions are opposed to this change and wanted to keep the existing pay and conditions of teachers instead.
