- Abstract
The article presents a public opinion survey on open adoption. The survey covers the views of public on the desire of adoptees to know about and look for their biological parents. The survey shows open adoption as a means for biological and adoptive parents to maintain relationship with their child. Majority of adoptees expressed their desire to gather information on their biological parents to complete their sense of identity. 86% people indicated that adoptive children should search for their biological parents.
