- Title
Paramyxovirus Entry and Targeted Vectors for Cancer Therapy.
- Authors
Cattaneo, Roberto
- Abstract
The article discusses the paramyxovirus entry to cancer causing viruses in the U.S. It states that it was considered as an appealing targeting substrate due to its receptor attachment and fusion functions, while its two-protein entry system is simpler compared to large DNA viruses that uses proteins. It also mentions that retargeting of other viruses particularly retro and lentiviral virus have been proven difficult.
