- Abstract
The article presents a study on the glutamate pyruvate transaminase (GPT) and ▵-aminolevulinate dehydratase (ALAD) protein polymorphism in the Jewish population using real-time PCR assays. Results showed that a maximum likeness based on the ALAD and GPT polymorphisms and five other red-cells enzymes polymorphisms shows the known historic, anthropological and geographic connections between the Jewish populations.
