- Abstract
Entrepreneurship is accepted as a global phenomenon that directs economies and leads to progress through establishing a new or innovative business. For this reason, all over the world, emphasis is placed on studies aimed at determining the factors affecting individuals' becoming entrepreneurs. Particularly efforts are being made to encourage the young population to turn to entrepreneurship. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the role of perceived employability and self-efficacy in understanding the entrepreneurial orientation of university students. 400 data collected by survey method from 3rd and 4th year students enrolled in the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of the university were analyzed by multiple regression analysis method. According to the analysis results, self-efficacy positively affects entrepreneurial orientation. It has been determined that perceived future networks and experiences, which are the dimensions of students' employability perception, positively affect the risk-taking dimension of entrepreneurial orientation. In addition, it has been determined that perceived future experiences and future labor market knowledge and skills positively affect the proactiveness dimension of entrepreneurial orientation.
