- Abstract
The purpose of this study was to evaluate significant differences on posture of the community health agents who carry bags for transporting work equipment during 8 hours per day and compare with another group of Family Health Team that does not carry bags during working hours. It was used a computerized biophotogrammetry. Data was collected at Family Health Unit of Limoeiro neighborhood, Ipatinga/MG, where a laboratory was built to capture digital images of the participants, which were analyzed by Alcimage software program. The deviation angle in an acromion module angle was compared between groups of individuals that carry bags (experimental group) with those who do not use (control group), using the mean, standard deviation and the Student t test at 5% probability. The result showed that only the average value and standard deviation of the acromion angle of the experimental group was higher than the average and standard deviation of the control group. Also, the "t" value was not found significant at level 5% of probability. We conclude that, in this study, the bag was not responsible for the body angle deviation of community health agents compared to other members of the Family Health Team.
