The article presents information on the struggle for sustenance of theater company The Cherub Company in London, England, which was started in 1978 by Polish actor/director Andrew Visnevski with British actor Simon Chandler. It mentions the author's quest to find out why the company failed to receive subsidy from the government-financed Arts Council of Great Britain (ACGB). It provides information on the plays staged by the company.
