- Abstract
An interview with writer and scholar Myriam J.A. Chancy is presented. Chancy discusses the transnational nature of her writing, choosing to write in a combination of English, French, and Kreyòl languages, and her book "The Loneliness of Angels." The tension between the Dominican Republic and Haiti, the author's book "From Sugar to Revolution: Women’s Visions of Haiti, Cuba, and the Dominican Republic," and the relationship between women and memory in her writing are discussed.
