- Abstract
The study by Andréas Stauder examines the inscription of Harwerre in Serabit el-Khadim (IS 90) from the 6th year of Amenemhat III. The inscription tells of Harwerre's expedition into the desert and the difficulties he encountered there. It also contains poetic elements that emphasize the beauty of the landscape and the role of Hathor. The inscription is structured and follows a concentric pattern. Various linguistic features and constructions are analyzed and discussed. The exact meaning of the inscription is further analyzed and discussed.
