- Abstract
This work attempts to approach the changes in the models of social reproduction of the noble family from the 15th to the 19th century in Spain, as well as the emergence of individualism. In this way, starting with a family analysis of two complete noble lineages, the de la Cueva and Fernández de Córdoba, which cover 54 houses or genealogical branches, we have sought to propose a methodological approach to quantitatively analyse the evolution in the forms of social reproduction of the estate in a specific example, as well as the way in which the transformations that lead the noble family from the collective to the individual take place.
